Stainless Steel and ANODIZED Stainless Steel in various formats
Topographies is an exhibition that explores abstracted land formations through folded and perforated stainless steel and anodized stainless steel plates. The works translate geological processes and rock formations into sculptural surfaces, emphasizing material tension, depth, and rhythm.
These abstractions reflect on the diversity and specificity of landscape, foregrounding the relationship between form and site. Each configuration evokes both familiar and distant imaginaries, referencing the unique qualities of particular terrains while simultaneously constructing new spatial perceptions.
Through this process, Topographies invites the viewer to inhabit an altered landscape—one that oscillates between physical geography and imagined terrain.
